I'm writing this on Sunday June 21st, the Summer Solstice, which means Summer has arrived, and along with it our Summer Markets at our new home in the Baxter Hotel! If you came downtown to the Baxter last month for the flea than you too realized the magic that is our partnership. The ambiance, history, and energy that this building emanates is palpable and such an incredible fit for our one of a kind market. I've lived in Bozeman most of my life and the Baxter is laced throughout my memory, providing an incredible backdrop against which many of my major life events have taken place. It feels somewhat full circle to be providing other Bozemanites an experience to remember in one of my favorite quintessential Bozeman locals.
We were simply floored by the turnout last month: There was literally a line in the upstairs lobby and down the stairs twenty minutes before doors opened at 11! Thank you all so much for coming out and participating in our dream. We are so honored and privalaged to be bringing you the best that Montana has to offer in handmade, vintage, and antique vendors. The people that we meet at these events are truly inspiring, and the enthusiasm and excitement is off the walls. If you haven't attended a market yet than get your butt down to the Market this Sunday June 28th for our first Summer Market.
We are basically taking over the Baxter!
We will be shutting down the alley between The Baxter and Bozeman Spirits where you can find live music, activities, and food vendors and inside you'll find our makers, collectors, and creators! The Baxter will again be providing a bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar, and of course we encourage you to grab a drink at the Bauchus or Ted Montana Grill once you are done shopping. (We ask that if you are imbibing any alcohol in the Baxter that you not bring any past the outdoor patio and into the alley market! We don't have a permit to lift the liquor laws.)
We officially have our dates set for our Summer Market Series, so mark your calendars and add it to the growing list of Bozeman Summertime activities! See you next Sunday!
We hope to see you this Sunday, but until then here are the stunning photographs Emma Light took during our May Market! She really captured the energy and joy and we can't thank her enough for these incredible images! If you are curious about her expansive body of work check out her website:
